The Jennifer Y. Merriman H.E.L.P. Program© was developed as a vision to provide a program that fulfills the holistic needs, untouched by any other comprehensive program for domestic violence survivors and those at risk.
Since 2015, this unique, innovative program has assisted women and men in taking ownership of their lives. Each module is facilitated or instructed by a professional with expertise in the topic being presented. Upon completion, participants will have available the tools to embrace reality, make better decisions, and rise above their setbacks. This will enable them to lead a life that is productive and free of abuse.
Features
Hope – Participants learn to dream again. When dealing with a difficult relationship you become stress, tired of being the one trying to fix things or you find yourself wondering if you will ever be happy again. We can show you ways to get back to your happy space.
Empowerment – Wisdome, Growth, Harmony, Meditation and Self-Love. These are only a few words used by participants to describe how they empowered themselves with the tools needed to make happy change.
Life Skills – Resume’, Cooking Classes, Mock Interviews, and Essential oils. So many life skills are neglected when living in a toxic relationship. Some are minor and some are more advanced. We take each group and assess what is needed to get them to their next then bring in experst to make it happen.
Prevention Methods – Some call them red flags, some say warning signs, some even call the the tells of a person. Either way, knowing what to look for when you first meet a person and how to make boundaries and communicate them could save a life.
The H.E.L.P. Program looks at the reasons victims return and provides a solution that can be catered to eavh person tyring to make a change.
