I am a transformational speaker with a passion to eradicate domestic violence. I know we must first disrupt the normalcy of domestic violence and build a team of advocate, ministers and servant leaders working to do the same.

Jennifer was said to have danced by the beat of her own drum. If you knew her, you know that she actually danced by the beat of an instrument that she made herself. Jennifer’s dreams revolved around helping others as she learned to help herself. She strived for a life of greatness and wanted the same for her friends and family. In her memory, the Jennifer Y. Merriman H.E.L.P. Program was created.
Jennifer Y. Merriman was an intellectually gifted seventeen year old. She was on target to graduate with honors with an Associates of Science degree and her High School diploma. Her dream was to further her education and obtain her Doctorate in Psychology. When asked what was her goal in life she would often say that she wanted to help people.
On September 6, 2014, her dreams for the future were taken from her when her brother-in-law invaded her safe haven and shot her four times after looking for his wife. This murder was useless and unwarranted. Jennifer had never done anything to instigate conflict or offend the assailant.
With the Jennifer Y. Merriman H.E.L.P. Program©, we are insuring that Jennifer’s legacy lives on. Through this program it will be known that every action leaves an imprint and every imprint affects a life.
